Freida Pinto is the female lead role in Danny Boyle’s new film scheduled for release in late 2008. The film won the Cadillac People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film in November. Boyle is an acclaimed British director and Frieda Pinto is his latest next hot thing. Frieda’s costar in the film is Dev Patel.
As a biography, Freida Pinto was born October 18th which makes her a Libra. Her hometown is the exotic attraction of Mumbai India where she graduated from St. Xavier’s College.
Prior to her movie break, she was a TV presenter on “Full Circle,” a travel show which showcased culture in the Pacific Islands and Asia.

A fast-moving brush fire driven by 50- to 70-mph winds erupted Thursday night in the hills above Montecito in Santa Barbara County, burning at least 800 acres, destroying up to 80 homes and forcing evacuations of luxury neighborhoods, authorities said.
The fire broke out about 6 p.m. in the wealthy Cold Springs area of Montecito, where a number of celebrities live, and quickly overwhelmed firefighters with its speed.
“I have so many concerns,” said Terry McElwee, operation chief for the Montecito Fire Department. “It’s just moving so fast right now. . . . We’re having trouble rounding up enough resources.”

Things might get a little testy on the set when the lights go down after this morning’s Today. Teasing an upcoming segment about the right age to get married, Meredith Vieira stumbled into the apparently sore subject of co-host Matt Lauer’s rocky marital history.
After mentioning that she had gotten married in her 30s, Meredith Vieira turned to Matt and asked when he had gotten married. That elicited and embarrassed and embarrassing pause from Matt Lauer, whose first marriage ended in divorce and whose second wife once filed for divorce before withdrawing the papers.
